Peer Review-Yazhini's WA1

After reading Yazhini's whole essay, I think it generally is coherent and well organised. I clearly got the two arguments in the reading.
In the essay she talked about the importance of nature conservation----control the greenhouse gas emissions and hereby affect the climate change. Then the benefit of REDD was also mentioned. But how the ecosystems and biodiversity conservation can be a weapon against climate? As a curious reader, I do hope she can give more information to convince me. "Statistics and studies reveal the amazing truth" still, I do want to know at least a little about the statistics and studies, if possible.
Then in the essay, she illustrated some factors, which made me felt good :), like the oceans can sequester around 2 gigatones of carbon a year, to show the ecosystems' tremendous affect on climate change and importance to people. In the essay, I think it would be better if we can see more fact and author's opinion. Besides, there are several typos in the essay should have been avoided, be a careful girl :)

blog 0: wang chao

Hi guys. I am Wang Chao, from Shanxi province, China. My city is called Taiyuan. Though it is in North China, it is not very cold, just around minus ten or so.
Something about me...emmm...First I like making models, fighters, tanks, destroyers, GUNDAMs as well(I just bought myself a compressor this holiday :D. but I missed the Christmas promotion, which cost me 60 more bucks T_T). Also, like most other guys, eating, sleeping, watching movies are all my love, yeah, and computer, of course, can not be without it for even a single day~ And recently, I started to watch Naruto----you can hardly know how wonderful it is to watch Naruto in your tiny room, I stay in KR by the way, with a huge screen----I borrowed a projector, the whole wall is my screen! What you need to do is just lie on the bad and get all other stuffs, like popcorn, potato chips, snacks, whatever you like, well prepared. Then, just enjoy! Forget your module, forget your CAP, simply enjoy! We say: CAP不过浮云而已:)
About how I came here, it is an interesting story. Actually, in my high school, I was just a quite normal student, usually just around 20th in my class. Have you ever heard about the NCEE? National Collage Entrance Examination, or we call "Gao Kao(高考)". It is a bit like your A level. I just got a damn high mark for the exam----second highest result in my class. Everyone, my parents, teachers, friends, and myself was really surprised, because in 2008, in our province, that mark was high enough for me to go to any university I want, of course Qinghua and Beijing University excluded:P
Then I went to Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi an. Majored in Aircraft Design and Engineering, a very cool major right? Especially in our university, specially focused on military aircrafts. Then I heard of the scholarship offered by Singapore government called SM3(that's why we call ourselves SM3 student, similarly, you will see SM2 and SM1 students around the campus). Like most of my fellows, I thought why not have a try, it would at least be an interesting experience anyway. So I went for the interview, then I just got the offer. Till now I still do not know why the NUS professor chose me(I said I want to go to NTU to study Aerospace engineering~), nor do I know their standard(only less than half of the applicants could pass, even the failed guys were awesomely good, and better than me I think).
Anyway, now I am here, though going abroad for my further study seemed to be so far from me even after the NCEE. Many friends say I am so lucky, so I am. So lucky to be here and so lucky to study to study with you guys:)
ps: still single, still lonely----am I really lucky? I do not know, I doubt...
